The Internet NewsPortal is built upon the widely used RSS news format, leveraging standardized XML files provided by numerous websites to deliver current online content. It offers users an accessible platform to view diverse news topics in a streamlined, iPhone-friendly interface. The range of available themes is extensive, including Theater and Cinema, Television schedules, international news, newspapers, technology updates for computers and PDAs, podcasts, stock market information, and blogs.

Features include a predefined, continuously updated news list that is refreshed monthly through editorial curation. Content is maintained in real-time by the original news providers to ensure freshness and accuracy. The application provides a preview function within the program and allows global access to news sources.

The platform functions across iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices, utilizing RSS feeds to gather content. For iPads, the service also offers the ability to view original newspaper websites with adjusted content layout tailored for the device’s display.

iPad-specific features include adapted content presentation and layout optimized for the device, with options to switch between German and English (international) content. The application integrates direct RSS feeds and, exclusively on iPad, supports viewing original newspaper sites. Navigation is streamlined through a Home button and a dedicated navigation window placed on the right side of the screen.

System requirements include an active internet connection and compatibility with iPhone and iPod Touch devices running iOS 8.x or higher, as well as iPads with iOS 8.x or higher.
